The Little White Dress

Hello March!

As we head into spring, it’s time to put away your coats, and take out all of your colorful floral dresses and sandals. Although, if you are on the West Coast, we haven’t taken out our coats to begin with. Winter never started!

As for the most part of the country, spring is just a around the corner, which means it’s time for fresh beginnings and flowers blossoming. The one dress that is perfect for springtime is a little white dress.

I don’t think following the “Don’t wear white after Labor Day” rule should apply to anyone’s wardrobe! White should be incorporated in your wardrobe all year long. Whether it’s pure white for the spring or summer, and creme/off-white for the winter, you can never go wrong with a neutral.

Dresses are one of my favorite closet items because they are versatile all year round. An LBD is not the only must-have in your wardrobe, opt for a white one too! I recommend a casual and refined one that can be transformed from day to night. With just one dress, you will be amazed at how many styles you can come up with for every day of the week. Get inspired and see how I styled one white dress, seven different ways for every day of the week.

Happy Styling!

Create a head-to-toe look that is relaxed and refined by adding a jean jacket, a scarf and booties to start your week.

Opt for a fashionable look by converting your dress into one that looks like a skirt. Simply put a blouse over the dress making it look like a whole new wardrobe item. Add some accessories like a belt to complete the look.

Try a different look by wearing a lace shirt under the dress. Also, I always recommend adding a touch of color to any outfit. I like this paperboy hat from H&M, it’s easy to wear and creates a whole new look.

Change up your mood with a cheetah shirt because it’s almost the weekend! Pair it with a white dress to add a touch of femininity.

Saturday calls for a relaxed and comfy outfit to catch up on errands, or indulge in some shopping. A long cardigan, novelty boots and a side swept bag are comfortable enough to walk through the crowds on a busy Saturday.

The little white dress is so versatile and can be worn many ways. Whether you wear it alone, make it look like a skirt or simply adding a jacket and a few accessories, you can easily change up the look for each day of the week, as well as wearable for every season. Don’t be afraid to wear white any day of the year! It’s a neutral and a great color to work with.
